1st amendment

Freedom of speech, religion, press, petition, assembly,

Cases:

Wisconsin v Yoder- Amish have to get education up till 8th grade.

Angel v Vitale- schools cannot write or promote official prayers for the American people to recite.

Tinker v Des Moines- students do not loose their right of speech when they go to school.

Hazelwood v kulmeier- schools can do whatever they need to to maintain a safe learning environment. Newspaper owned by school.

4th amendment

No unreasonable searches or seizures,

Must have warrant for searches.

Map v Ohio- cannot use illegal materials against someone if they were found illegally in an illegal search.
