The Appian Way
An ancient road in Rome, known for connecting the city to the southern regions of Italy, facilitating trade and military movement.

Arch
A curved structure that was a key part of Roman architecture.
Keystones

Voussoirs

A wealthy Roman house, typically with an atrium and peristyle.

An ancient civilization in Italy that influenced Roman architecture and culture.
Amphitheater
A freestanding structure used for performances and games, combining two theaters.
Head of Augustus
Statues depicting Augustus as both a political leader and a divine figure.
Head of Caligula
A representation of the infamous Roman Emperor known for his cruelty.
