Step 1
Use a circuit diagram to set up and connect the circuit
Step 2
Next, connect a lead from the negative side of the ammeter to the crocodile clip at the 0 end of the ruler
Step 3
After, connect another crocodile clip to the negative side of the battery an use the lead as a switch to disconnect the battttery between readings
Step 4
Decide the interval distance you are going to investigate and put the lead at points A and B
Step 5
Measure the readings on the ammeter and voltmeter and use the equation V=IR to get the resistance.
Step 6
Continue moving B to your chosen interval distance to get differentt measurements and then record the readings
Step 7
Disconcert the battery between readings so the wire doesn’t get hot. After recording the readings transfer them onto a graph against resistance and the length of the wire
