Supranationalism
Independent sovereign states relinquish some of their power in order to participate in a larger political body made up of three or more other states.
Autonomous region
A region that has a degree of self-government and operates independently within a larger political entity.
Complete Disintegration of States
The total breakdown or fragmentation of a state's political structure.
Transnational problems
Issues that cross national borders, requiring collective global action, such as climate change.
Global economies of scale
The cost advantages that enterprises obtain due to their scale of operation, with the cost per unit of output generally decreasing with increasing scale as fixed costs are spread out over more goods.
