What does Wire gauge refer to?
The thickness of the wire, measured in American Wire Gauge(AWG) units
What does the Lower Gauge have?
Thicker wires, and better sound quality, and less signal loss and distortion, resulting in clearer audio
Thicker wires have:
Lower resistance, allowing for better signal transmission
What does the Higher Gauge have?
Thinner wires, lesser sound quality
Thinner wires have:
Higher resistance which leads to signal loss and distortion(not ideal for long distances or high power audio systems)
