What is Graphic Design?
Graphic design is the creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas.
What are the 3 parts of a design?
Subject, Content, and Composition
What is subject?
the person, place, thing, or focal point that is easily identifiable in the design.
What is content?
the message of the design.
What is composition?
the arrangement or layout of the design
What is the difference between Faster (Bitmap) and Vector?
Bitmap: made up of a multitude of pixels, each one containing information about one specific color.
Vector: made up of perfectly straight lines and curves based on mathematical equations.
Does Adobe Illustrator use Raster (Bitmap) or Vector?

What do these stand for? CMY(K), RBY, and RGB
When/why do we use each?
CMY: cyan-magenta-yellow; best color wheel for mixing paints
RBY: red-blue-yellow; best color wheel for color harmony (and for beginners)
RGB: red-green-blue; best color wheel for mixing lights
