economic development - arable land, access to resources

What is suburbanization?
the shift of populations from cities to suburbs, resulting in decentralization, automobile dependency, and land conversion of rural areas
What is counterurbanization?
high tech services keep people connected and attracted to the land and slow pace
push factors - higher crime rates, traffic congestion, poor quality schools
pull factors - safer for children, less pollution
