Boom Op
An audio role that uses a boom mic to capture dialog when filming, They are directed towards speaking talents and must be very close but just out of frame. A demanding job that requires great stamina and knowledge on mic sounds. Monitors with headphones, nust anticipate dialog and know the script

-SMPTE is coded as MIDI data that can then be sent down a MIDI cable
-cheap and not accurate as LTC or VITC, updates only every other frame
