What are the side effects and contraindications of Cyclosporin?
GI upset, hirsutism, papillomas, gingival hyperplasia. Should not use with P-glycoprotein (ivermectin)
What are the side effects and contraindications of prednisone?
PU, PD, PP, behavioural changes, GI ulcers, hepatopathy, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, decreased thyroid hormone, delayed wound healing, cutaneous atrophy, comedones, 2° infections. Never use with NSAIDS (increases risk of GI ulcer and renal failure)
