Colostomy
A surgical procedure that creates an opening in the colon to allow waste to exit through a stoma.
Nephritis
Inflammation of the kidney, often caused by infection or autoimmune conditions.

High blood glucose levels, typically occurring in diabetic patients.
Purulent
Relating to pus, indicating infection.

Surgical reshaping or reconstruction of the nose.
Vital Signs
Measurements of the body's basic functions, including respiration, pulse, and blood pressure.
Pathogens
Microorganisms that cause disease, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Modes of Transmission
Ways in which pathogens are spread, including airborne and contact.
Chain of Infection
The process by which infections spread, consisting of an infectious agent, reservoir, portal of exit, mode of transmission, portal of entry, and susceptible host.

A plane that divides the body into top (superior) and bottom (inferior) sections.

A type of medical care focused on providing relief from symptoms and stress of a serious illness.

A documentation method that includes Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan for patient information.
