sweat ,which is produced from sweat glands, evaporates to cool down the body
vasodilation, blood vessels dilate so it is closer to the surface of the skin and so heat can be radiated
what happens when a human’s body temp becomes too low
shivering - to generate heat from respiration
hair stands erect to create an insulating layer and trap warm air
vasoconstriction, when blood vessels constrict so less heat is loss via radiation
what does insulin do
lower blood sugar levels
what does glucagon do
it raises blood sugar levels by converting insoluble glycogen into soluble glucose
type 1 diabetes
