Caused as pigs have small hearts, so they are susceptible to overheating with stress + heat

Area of the stomach made of simple columnar glandular epithelium

Diverticulum

An outpouch of the cardiac region of the stomach, only seen in the pig

Torus pyloricus

A protrusion of the pyloric region of the stomach, creating a pyloric valve to regulate digestion
