Lorazepam

Ativan - Seizures - Parenteral - narrow angle glaucoma

Temazepam

Restoril - Insomnia - narrow angle glaucoma, sleep apnea syndrome

Benzodiazepines

Used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, seizures, and insomnia. Do not combine with opioids/alcohol. Schedule 4. All oral.

Side Effects

Worsening depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation.

Contraindications

Narrow Angle Glaucoma.

Fall Risk

Increased if on benzodiazepines.
