Electric Current
The rate of flow of charge per unit time.
Potential Difference
The energy transferred per unit charge.
Resistance
A measure of how difficult it is for current to pass through a component.
Ohm's Law
States that the current is directly proportional to the potential difference across it, given that physical conditions are kept constant.
Charge Conservation
The principle that the total electric charge in a closed system does not change.
Kirchhoff's First Law
The total current flowing into a junction is equal to the total current flowing out of it.
Series Circuit
A circuit where components are connected in a single path, so the same current flows through all components.
Conductor
A material that allows the flow of electric charge.
