enforces laws,makes executive orders,appoints officials,budget management and manages executive branch (holding meetings)
Chief Legislator
propose a law,veto,sign bills,outline law priorities and reccomend policies,persuade memeber of congress to support/oppose legislation
Party Leader
basically do things that will benefit his party as well as keeping it together
Chief Diplomat
negotiate treaties, choose ambassador,conduct foreign polices,meet for foreign leader and accept other governments.
Commander In Chief
basically manage the military troops like commanding them but cant declare war
Crisis Manager
coordinate response,declare emergencies,inform the public, request international aid and oversee recovery
Leader of Political Agenda
propose laws,veto bills,influence laws and regulations,work with congress, bully pulpit(use public attention for gain)
Judicial Powers
appoint judges, pardon and commutations,influence how laws are interpreted (by choosing federal judges and supreme court judges)
