Delegated legislation - made under powers conferred by an act of parliament, e.g. statutory regulation or bylaws such as parking rules, animal control and noise rules.
Statutes
Acts of Parliament - either declare the law, change it, or both.
E.g. Crimes Act, Treaty of Waitangi Act etc.
Highest form of law (overrides al other law).
Parlimentary Supremacy
Two Aspects:
Parliament can make any law except bind a future parliament.
What is said and done in parliament cannot be question in any Court of any place out of parliament.
