Explain two ways God’s omnipotence influences Christians today.
Since God is omnipotent, Christians will pray for redemption which Is central to the Eucharist service on a Sunday as they believe that God has the power to save them from sin.
Christians will also celebrate Easter. This is because they believe that by celebrating Jesus death and resurrection symbolizes God's power to defeat evil.
Explain two ways God’s omnibenevolence influences Christians today.
Christians will pray for redemption which is being saved from sin which is central to the Eucharist service usually held on a Sunday. This is because God made a sacrifice for human sin so that we are given the opportunity to atone for the mistakes we make.
Christians will recite central prayers such as The Lord's Prayer and the Nicene Creed which reminds them of God's love. This is because it helps to remind them that God is with them, and he loves them even through difficult times. 'Love thy neighbour as thyself' (Mathew 22)
Explain two ways God’s justice influences Christians today.
Christians will try and follow the Ten commandments (Exodus 20) and leave a good moral life and be obedient because they understand that God will judge them on how just they have been in their lives.
Many Christians will work for justice in society by giving to charity or volunteering. This is because the Bible portrays that God expects believers to behave justly by treating fellow-humans fairly and trying to relieve suffering.
Explain two ways God’s problem of evil and suffering influences Christians today.
One way that Christians respond to evil, and suffering is that they will pray to god to help those who are suffering. This prayer is called intercession and found in all types of Christian worship.
In response to evil and suffering, many Christians will actively help those who suffer through service. This means that they will give food and clothing for homeless and set up charities such as "children societies".

A second way the Trinity influences Christians today is that significant events such as Baptisms are performed in the name of the Trinity. For example, the Church of England announces I will baptise you "in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit".
Explain two ways the creation influences Christians today.
Humans are given "stewardship" over the rest of the creation- humanity is sometimes interpreted to be the ruler over species and therefore have a special responsibility to look after what God has created. Therefore they may take part in environmental campaign.
Sunday- God rests on the 7th day of creation and therefore Christians will devote themselves to worship
Christians will maintain a positive attitude throughout life. Even when things go wrong they retain the positivity asn they do not ignore issues but they think things through. This is because they believe that human life does not exist by chance because God created it.
Explain two ways sin and salvation influences Christians today.
Christians celebrate God's grace and the idea of atonement at Easter when they celebrate Jesus' death on the cross that is believed to pay for human sin.
Catholics will take the sacrament. For example they would take communion as a way to celebrate and remember Jesus roles in their lives through his death which atones for human sin.
Explain two ways the incarnation influences Christians today.
Christians celebrate the coming of the Incarnation at Christmas. They pray for his coming during Advent and celebrate his birth on Christmas day - crib, carols, etc.
Christians recognise the role of the Incarnation in dying for human sin at Easter. They celebrate, eg, his death on Good Friday.
One way it influences Christians today is that they will have selfless love for others. For example mother Theresa left the relative comfort of her home to live amongst the poorest people in India. This is because Christians believe that the incarnation is central to how Christianity understands the extent of God's love for humanity.
Explain two ways life after death influences Christians today.
Belief in life after death provides motivation to live a good moral life. For more conservative denominations, this is enabled by Gods grace in the form of the holy spirit.
Belief in life after death provides hope for Christians that death is not the end which is demonstrated through the resurrection. This means that Christians will place their trust in God and believe that what is to come will be even better than our life on earth. For those who experience suffering on earth, this provides comfort and justification for the belief in God.

One way crucifixion influences Christians today is that they will be more likely to sacrifice. This means that they will give up things such as through lent they will not each chocolate. This is because God made a sacrifice to humanity.
One way crucifixion influences Christians today is that they will pray to Jesus. This is because he proved how much him, and God loved us by giving us the ultimate sacrifice- his love.
Explain two ways the resurrection influences Christians today.
One way the resurrection influences Christians today is they will celebrate easter. This is because it is the holy day for Christians in which they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
A second way that the resurrection will influence Christians today is that they will try and lead a good life by acting morally right and also influencing others to do the same. This is because they believe I the day of judgement in which humanity will be judged on how they live their lives, and they want to go to heaven.
Explain two ways the ascension influences Christians today.
One way the ascension influences Christians today is that they will leave good moral lives by giving to charity being just and kind. This is because the acnesion demonstrates that there is life beyond earth and therefore they want to go to heaven and fear the idea of hell.
One way that the ascension influences Christians today is that they will follow Jesus laws and commands in confidence. This is because the ascension is the final confirmation that God is divine.
