Bandwagon Fallacy

Supporting a claim because many others do, without evaluating the merits of the claim.

Red Herring

Introducing a distracting irrelevant topic to divert attention from the main argument.

Straw Man

Misrepresenting an opponent's argument to make it easier to attack.

Begging the Question

Assuming the conclusion is true in the premises.

False Dilemma

Presenting only two options when more are available.

Slippery Slope

Arguing that one event will inevitably lead to a series of negative consequences.

Hasty Generalization

Drawing a conclusion based on insufficient evidence.
