The Transfer Admission Agreement (TAA) is an agreement between the specific Community College, a student from that college, and Santa Clara University's Office of Undergraduate Admission, stipulating that if certain courses and academic subjects are met, with a required minimum GPA, and the student is in good standing with the current institution, then admission to SCU for the following fall is guaranteed.

The number of students accepted each year for transfer into the Leavey School of Business depends on space; therefore, is usually highly selective and can be more competitive than being admitted as a first-year student.

BUSN students must complete a range of lower-division courses across all major departments within the LSB. This curriculum ensures that Business students acquire a comprehensive understanding across all areas of business, providing a well-rounded education that extends beyond their specific major.
