Fascism

a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized government headed by a dictatorial leader through economic and social regimentation and forcible suppression of opposition.

Genocide

the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group.

Blitzkrieg

an intense military campaign characterized by speed and massive force intended to bring quick victory.

Collectivization

organized on basis of ownership by the people or state control; not private ownership.

Protectionism

the theory or practice of shielding a country's domestic industries from foreign competition; often taxing imports.

Appeasement

to pacify or placate someone by giving in to their demands.

Authoritarian

favoring or enforcing strict obedience to the government, often at the expense of personal freedom.

Retaliation

the act of returning a military attack; to harm someone because they have harmed oneself.

Siege

a military operation in which enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off essential supplies with the aim of compelling surrender.

Amphibious

related to or living in both land and water; a military operation involving forces landing from the sea.
