What is force?

An influence from a systems surroundings to change its velocity

What is force characterized by?

Magnitude and direction, push or pull, non-persistence, action-at-a-distance and contact

What is gravitational force?

A force on a system which has mass due to its gravitational attraction towards Earths center

What is a net force?

The total force on a system equals the sum of the forces acting on the system by its surroundings. If N is the number of interactions, Fi,x is one of the forces.
