Goalie
In Lacrosse, the player allowed to play between the crease and the goal.

Cradling
The action made by swiveling the stick back and forth to keep the ball in the net in Lacrosse.
Quarterback
The offensive player that is typically throwing the ball the most in football.
Touchdown
What it is called when a player crosses the goal line in football.
Rebound
When another player gains possession of the ball after a missed shot in basketball that hits the rim or backboard.
Homerun
In softball/kickball, when a player on offense touches all four bases in one run.
Force Out
In softball/kickball, a situation where the defensive player only has to tag the base to get the player out.
Bump
A term used during a volleyball game to describe one of the actions performed to return the ball.
Set
A term used during a volleyball game to describe an action performed to prepare for a spike.
Spike
A term used during volleyball to describe a forceful hit of the ball over the net.
Serve
The action performed to start play in volleyball.
Non-volley zone
In Pickle Ball, the area where players may not hit the ball unless it has bounced.
Throw in
How play is restarted in soccer after the ball has gone out of bounds over the sideline.
Face off
The method used to start a hockey game to determine who wins possession of the puck/ball.
