Anthropology
The study of man.

The inherent value and worth in humanity, reflecting God's personality and moral likeness.
Dichotomy
The view that man is made up of two parts: body and soul/spirit.
Trichotomy
The view that man is made up of three parts: body, soul, and spirit.
Original Sin
The belief that the sin nature originated in Adam and is passed to every member of the human race.
Free Will
The ability of man to make genuine choices, not merely the appearance of choice.
Probation (Adam's Test)
God's test of Adam, characterized by responsibility, privilege, and restriction.
Eternal Death
Separation from God forever, also known as the 'second death'.
Theistic Evolution
The belief that God used evolution as a mechanism for creation.
Federal Headship
The biblical concept that Adam's actions represent all humanity.
Imputed Righteousness
The righteousness of Christ credited to the believer's account.
Depravity
The corruption of man’s nature due to sin, indicating that all aspects are affected.
