Great Britain wanted fertile soil

The French wanted trading furs

Both countries wanted to sell the Native Americans their nation’s food.

During the War, did slaves fight alongside the French or the British? What about Native Americans?

Slaves fought with the British. Native Americans fought with whichever side would be loyal to them and would fulfill their wishes.
