What are the three layers of tissue in the walls of the uterus?
Perimetrium, Myometrium, Endometrium.

Anteversion is the forward leaning of the uterus
anteflexion is the bending of the uterus forward at almost right angles to the vagina.

It sheds during menstruation

What is the role of fimbriae in the uterine tubes?
They swell to transport the egg to the uterus via the uterine tubes

In the uterine tube — ampulla
What is the structure of the vagina?
A fibromuscular tube lined with stratified squamous epithelium.
What is the function of the clitoris?
contains erectile tissue
sensitive nerve endings important for female sexual pleasure
