relay neurons, brain and spine.

what does the brain do?

concisions awareness, contains 4 lobes

what does the spina cord do?

takes messages to and from the brain

what does the peripheral nervous system do?

relays messaged from the CNS to the rest of the body

somatic nervous system:

connects sensory neurons to the CNS to produce voluntary movements through motor neurons

autonomic nervous system:

involuntary movements, only contains motor neurons

sympathetic nervous system:

fight or flight

parasympathetic nervous system:

rest and digest
