Tibialis anterior is a major muscle for ankle dorsiflexion & inversion.

Describe the line of pull of the muscle relative to both the medial-lateral axis of dorsiflexion/plantar flexion, as well as the anterior-posterior axis of inversion/eversion

The tibialis anterior lies laterally to the medial-lateral axis which allows for dorsifexion since it lies in front of the ankle joint pulling to perform dorsiflexion

The tibialis anterior also runs medial to the anterior/posterior axis pulling the ankle inward for inversion
