Setting

The general locale, historical time period, and social circumstances in which the action of a fictional or dramatic work occurs.

Third person limited/objective point of view

When the person telling the story is not one of the characters in the story. He or she is an outside observer. The reader may only know the thoughts and feelings of ONE character in the story. This is a narrator who is totally impersonal and objective tells the story, with no comment on any characters or events.

The perspective from which a story is told.

First person point of view

When the person telling the story is one of the characters in the story. It is the "I" point of view. It is the most limited among the types because the narrator can only state what he or she sees, feels, and hears.

Plot
