Spanish Conjugations

Preterite Perfect

Used to indicate actions that were completed in the past that have relevance to the present.

Haber Present (he, has, ha, hemos, habéis, han) + Participle (hablado,aprendido, vivido, etc.)

Irregular Verbs Preterite Perfect

Abrir-abierto; decir-dicho; escribir-escrito; hacer-hecho; morir-muerto; poner-puesto; ver-visto; volver-vuelto

Preterite Imperfect

Used to indicate habitual past actions with no concrete conclusion

AR: aba, abas, aba, ábamos, abais, aban;

ER/IR: ía, ías, ía, íamos, íais, ían

Preterite Imperfect Irregular Verbs

Ir; iba, ibas, iba, íbamos, ibais, iban

Ser: era, eras, era, éramos, erais, eran;

Ver: veía, veías, veía, veíamos, veíais, veían.

Preterite Indefinite

Completed actions in the past with no direct link to the present.

AR: é, aste, ó, amos, asteis, aron

ER/IR: í, iste, ió, imos, isteis, ieron

Preterite Indefinite Irregular Verbs

Ser/Ir: Fui, Fuiste, Fue, Fuimos, Fuisteis, Fueron

Estar: Estuve, Estuviste, Estuvo, Estuvimos, Estuvisteis, Estuvieron

Hacer: Hice, Hiciste, Hizo, Hicimos, Hicisteis, Hicieron

Tener: Tuve, Tuviste, Tuvo, Tuvimos, Tuvisteis, Tuvieron

Decir: Dije, Dijiste, Dijo, Dijimos, Dijisteis, Dijeron

Buscar: Busqué, Buscaste, Buscó, Buscamos, Buscasteis, Buscaron

Preterite Pluscomperfecto

Used to indicate actions that occurred before another past action.

Imperfect Haber (había, habías, había, habíamos, habíais, habían) + Participle (hablado, comido, vivido)

Future

Used to indicate actions that will occur in the future. It often expresses intentions, predictions, or plans.

Formed by infinitive + é, ás, á, emos, éis, án.

Imperative

Used to make requests or to tell someone to do something. There are 4 forms used: tu, vosotros, usted, ustedes

Ar: a, ad, e, en

Er/Ir: e, ed, a, an

Irregular Imperative

Salir: sal, salga, salgamos, salid, salgan

Tener: ten, tenga, tengamos, tened, tengan

Poner: pon, ponga, pongamos, poned, pongan

Hacer: haz, haga, hagamos, haced, hagan

Decir: di, diga, digamos, decid, digan

Ir: ve, vaya, vayamos, id, vayan

Oir: oye, oiga, oigamos, oid, oigan

Ser: sé, sea, seamos, sed, sean

Present

Used to indicate actions currently happening

Used to express wishes, emotions, possibilities, or actions that are not certain

Tener: tenga, tengas, tenga, tengamos, tengáis, tengan

Hacer: haga, hagas, haga, hagamos, hagáis, hagan
