Present simple
(i do/does)
when we talk about some in general or that is happening right now. “he works”
past simple
(i did) talking about something that have happened in the past “Before that I worked in a deparment store”
Future simple
(will + infinitive) describes actions that will occur in the future. “You will be examed by a top consultant”
Present continuous
(am/is/are + verb+ing) describes actions that are currently happening or ongoing. "She is studying for her exams."
past contiuous
was/were + verb+ing describes actions that were ongoing in the past at a certain time bu hadn’t finished yet. "I was reading when he called."
Present perfect
(has/have + past participle) describes actions that occurred at an unspecified time before now or that started in the past and continue to the present. Is often used when there is a connection with now. "She has finished her homework."
past perfect
(had + past participle) describes actions that were completed before a certain point in the past. "I had already eaten when they arrived."
future perfect
(will have + past participle) describes actions that will be completed before a specified time in the future. "By next year, I will have graduated."
