What is the Universal Cover Mode?
Off target = finger Off trigger
On Target no intent to shoot = finger Off trigger
On target intent to shoot = finger On trigger
What is a Safe Direction?
Any direction whereby, should an unintentional discharge occur, no loss of life, no personal injury and minimal property damage will occur.
Cyclic Action of a Loaded Pistol is as follows:

Interview Stance vs. Isosceles
Used while speaking with subjects; hands are waist level.

Insert mag
Press trigger and hold
Remove mag
Rack once while still pressing trigger
Reinsert mag
Slowly release trigger, listening and feel for faint trigger reset click
What are the steps to proving a pistol safe?
P - Point the pistol in a safe direction
R - Remove the source of ammunition (magazine)
O - Open the action by racking the slide and then locking it open
V - Verify the feed path is clear by visually and physically inspecting
E - Ensure the barrel is free of obstructions
[NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO]
PROVE safe with no mag loaded procedure:
1. In interview stance, check for source of ammunition (Jazz hands)
2. Draw to a tuck while moving into isosceles stance
3. Rack the action three times in your workspace
4. Lock the slide to the rear
5. Tilt head over firearm while pointed down range and perform a visual inspection check
6. Take pinky and perform a physical inspection check
7. Introduce the firearm to your support hand and put your weapon hand behind you while
quickly performing a barrel obstruction check.
8. Re-introduce the firearm to your weapon hand, rack the action, and go up on target
9. Lower the sights a couple inches and perform a threat scan
10. Bring the firearm into your workspace and conduct a brief function check
11. Holster the firearm without looking and ensuring the trigger finger is pushed out at a 45 degree angle. (Sweep and tug back into interview stance)

ADMIN Unload:
1. In interview stance, check for source of ammunition
2. Findinding a source, release mag and deposit in support side pocket
3. Draw to a tuck while moving into isosceles stance
4. Rack the action and track the round it ejects then rack the action 3 more times
5. Lock the slide to the rear
6. Tilt head over firearm while pointed down range and perform a visual inspection check
7. Take pinky and perform a physical inspection check
8. Introduce the firearm to your support hand and put your weapon hand behind you while
quickly performing a barrel obstruction check.
9. Re-introduce the firearm to your weapon hand, rack the action, and go up on target
10. Lower the sights a couple inches and perform a threat scan
