Critical Thinking
The process of actively and skillfully analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing information to reach a conclusion or form an argument.
Claim
A conclusion or idea that an author is trying to persuade you to accept.
Causal Claims
Claims asserting that certain events or factors (causes) are responsible for creating other events (effects).
Reality Assumption
A belief about what events have taken place or what exists shaped by experiences, conversations, and media consumption.
Value Assumption
Ideals or standards of right and wrong that influence how one perceives how things should be.
Hallucinations (in AI context)
Incorrect or misleading results generated by AI models due to various factors, including inadequate training data.
Opacity
The unpredictable performance of AI systems, making it difficult to foresee the outcomes of their functions.
Generative AI Prompts
Effective prompts that outline role and goal, audience, and purpose to improve the output of AI.
Negotiate
The ongoing process through which two or more parties with differing positions attempt to reach an agreement.
Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA)
The most advantageous course of action one can take if a negotiation doesn't result in a satisfactory agreement.
Just Transition
A fair and inclusive approach to greening the economy, ensuring decent work opportunities and social equity.
Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
A version of a product that allows a team to collect maximum learning with the least amount of effort.
Psychological Safety
A shared belief within a team that enables members to feel accepted, respected, and safe to voice opinions.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Initiatives aimed at promoting representation, fairness, and access for diverse groups within organizations.
Negotiation Strategies
