Thermal Energy

Thermal energy is produced when a rise in temperature causes atoms and molecules to move faster and collide with each other 

Temperature

 the measure of the average kinetic energy of the particles in a substance

Heat

Is thermal energy moving from a hotter object to a colder object

Conductior

Materials that conduct heat well, or that transfer heat easily

Insulators

Materials that don’t conduct heat well, or slow the transfer of it 

Evaporation 

Is the process by which matter changes from a liquid to a gas

Conduction

The process when heat is transferred from one particle to another when the particles collide  

Kinetic Energy

Kinetic energy is the energy created by the movement of particles in a substance
