(v) Exaggerate

• Stop exaggerating!

• Exaggerate the importance of something.

Ex:

• I'm not exaggerating when I say I have plenty of work to do.

• Don't exaggerate the difficulties.

Synonym:

• Overstate, magnify, inflate, overdo it

Antonym:

• Understate (Nói giảm), play down, minimize.

To make something seem larger, better, worse, or more important than it really is.

• (Nói quá, thổi phồng)
