Innuendo

A hint or indirect suggestion, often disparaging or derogatory.

Coalition

A combination, union, or merger for a specific purpose.

Elicit

To draw forth or bring out from a source (such as information).

Hiatus

A gap, opening, or break in continuity; a temporary pause.

Assuage

To ease or relieve; to quiet, calm, or satisfy.

Decadence

Decline, decay, or deterioration; a period of self-indulgence or decline.

Expostulate

To urge reasons with someone in an attempt to dissuade them from a course of action; to reason earnestly against something.
