Congress cannot make a law that restricts people from freely practicing religion
Speech purpose
Congress cannot make a law that violates someoneâs right to what they say
Press purpose
Congress doesnât have the right to take away the freedom of the press
Assembly purpose
People have the right to assemble peacefully in groups to protest and discuss amend congress doesnât have the ability to make a law to prevent it
Petition purpose
Congress doesnât have the power to take anyway the right of people to petition the government doe not doing its job correctly
