cube shaped, lateral side of foot. Articulates posteriorly with calcaneus, anteriorly with 4 and 5 metacarpals

navicular

flat oval bone between proximal and distal tarsals, Named for strongly concave proximal surface. Articulates proximally with facet for talar head of talus, distally with 3 cuneiforms

media 1st cuneiform

largest out of the three. Articulates proximally with navicular, distally with base of 1st metatarsal, and laterally with the second cuneiform also the base of the second metatarsal

intermediate 2nd cuneiform

smallest of the three, wedge shapes. Articulates proximally with navicular, distally with second metatarsal. Articulates medially with medial cuneiform and lateral with the lateral cuneiform

Lateral 3rd cuneiform

at the center of the foot, intermediate in size. Articulates proximally with navicular and distally with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th metatarsals. Articulates medially with intermediate cuneiform and laterally with the cuboid.
