What is a light cue?

A single, specific look created by lighting for a certain scene in the show. However, light cues are always regarded as a series of cues that flow into each other smoothly to create the lighting of a scene. These are programmed into the light board and called by the stage manager.

What is a GOBO?

A cut piece of metal that is used to change the shape of lighting. (Leaves, windows, polka dots, etc.)

In LED lights, the color is changed on the inside through coding and wiring. Incandescent lights must change color through Gels or other external sources.
