Sagittal Suture
The joint between the two parietal bones of the skull.
Cervical Spine (C1-C7)
The section of the spinal column in the neck region, consisting of 7 vertebrae.
Thoracic Spine (T1-T12)
The section of the spinal column in the upper back, consisting of 12 vertebrae.
Lumbar Spine (L1-L5)
The section of the spinal column in the lower back, consisting of 5 vertebrae.
Sacrum
A triangular bone at the base of the spine, formed from fused vertebrae.
Parietal Bones
Two bones forming the sides and roof of the cranium.
Occipital Bone
The bone forming the back of the skull.
Scapula
Also known as the shoulder blade.
Humerus
The long bone of the upper arm, extending from the shoulder to the elbow.
Ilium
The uppermost and largest bone of the pelvis.
Coccyx
Commonly called the tailbone, located at the end of the spine.
Femur
The thigh bone; the longest and strongest bone in the human body.
Tibia
The larger of the two bones of the lower leg; also known as the shinbone.
Fibula
The smaller of the two bones of the lower leg.
Calcaneus
The heel bone.
