Sphincters
Circular muscular valves that regulate the movement of material between compartments.
Glucose Homeostasis
The regulation of blood glucose levels by insulin and glucagon.
Diabetes Mellitus
A disease caused by a deficiency of insulin or a decreased response to insulin.
