Needs

The things that a plant or animal requires to live, like food and water.

Life processes

The seven things that all living things can do: feeding (or nutrition), growth, reproduction, breathing (or respiration), excretion, senses, and motion.

To eat food or absorb it to live.

Growth

To get bigger.

Reproduction

To make new living things.

Breathing (or Respiration)

To move air in and out.

Senses

To be able to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel.

To move from one place to another.

When plants and animals in a habitat depend on each other.

A plant or animal that naturally occurs in a certain place.
