Phases - solid, liquid, gas (in order of least to most)

Temperature - increase temp increase entropy decrease temp decrease entropy

Dissolved = increase entropy

What does the calorimeter measure

The amount of energy released or absorbed by a metal in water by measuring what the water absorbs or releases (the same thing by reversed)

Forming bonds is releasing and breaking bonds is absorbing energy

Negative delta means exo and positive delta mean endo
