Accuracy
How true or correct the information in a source is.
Authority
The status of information in a text, including the writer's expertise, publisher's credentials, and the origin of a source.
Bias
A prejudice or preconceived notion that prevents a person from approaching a topic in a neutral or objective way.
Relevance
How closely related something is to the issue at hand.
Synthesis
Combining two or more ideas to create something more complex in support of a new idea.
Argument
A discussion where partisanship and polarization often win out over dialogue and reason.
Background
Visual rhetoric that provides context or complements the primary subject, often softening the overall impression.
Exhibit
Illustration or demonstration of a concept or idea.
Method
The approach or procedure used in conducting an analysis or investigation.
Tipping Point
The defining moment when a significant change occurs, leading to a phenomenon.
Stickiness Factor
The quality that makes an idea or trend memorable and likely to spread.
Staying Power
The ability of a trend or epidemic to remain relevant over time.
