I would help Jim by showing him scripture and Ellen White's teachings. I would briefly tell him that God loves him and that he died for his sins and that is the reason he is able to live! Next, I would tell him about the 28 FB and explain to him how much amazing information comes from this book.
Your boss, Nancy, is an evangelical Christian, and she has become interested in the doctrines of the SDA. How would you help her to learn them and to commit herself to the truths?
I would help her to learn about the doctrines of SDA by reading the FB because they introduce the doctrines. Since I cannot force Nancy to commit herself to these truths after helping her learn them, I will leave that part up to her and God.
Your neighbor, Rick, is a Catholic, and he has become interested in the Bible. He had asked you to help him learn the Bible doctrines. How can you best help him?
Similar with Nancy, I believe I can help Rick best by introducing him to the FB because that explains the doctrines in a great way. Yet, along with him reading this, I would study it with him and answer any questions he has because it is all confusing information to learn the first time around.
You met a Cambodian monk who wishes to learn the teachings of the Bible. How would you best help him?
I would best help this Cambodian monk by telling him what I believe as a Seventh-day Adventist and explain to him that God is love and gave his life for all of us. After explaining this, I think I would invite him to start Bible studies and pray with him
