One reason globalization can have a negative impact on a specific folk culture’s loss of traditional values is because the people who apart of the culture might begin using their culture as a way to gain tourists and lose the meaning behind the cultural practices. this promotes more tourism and with tourism brings globalization which erases the folk culture in that area and replaces it with tourist attraction.

one example is most pop music is sang in english causing listeners to want to learn english to better understand whats being said. this causes more people to learn english. and another example is the internet is most common in english speaking countries like us and england causing most of the internet to only be accessible if you speak english. in order for most people to understand regardless of background people might speak english rather than their native language.

ansih demonstrate a folk culture by have a way of dressing themselves in traditional clothing, like bonnets, suspenders and other traditional clothes. this shows folk culture as no other culture does these same things. another way is by using their own language which is only spoken in amosh communities. language is essential in folk culture as many practices are done in that language and can only be continued if the people understand the language.
