Contains ovules and is part of the female reproductive structure.
Perfect flower
A flower that has both male and female reproductive parts.
Imperfect flower
A flower that has only one type of reproductive part.
Monoecious
Plants that have both male and female reproductive parts.
Dioecious
Plants that have male and female reproductive parts on separate individuals.
Double fertilization
A process in which one sperm forms the zygote and another sperm forms the endosperm.

Traits that attract specific types of pollinators.

Pollination characterized by bright colors and sweet scents.

Pollination occurring in night-blooming plants with strong odors.
