It cannot be repeated because it imparts a permanent spiritual mark on the individual, signifying their incorporation into the Church.

The two main element of baptism are the matter and formula. One must be baptized with water, as it is the physical substance for Baptism and cleanses away sin. The 'form' are the words that must be spoken, where the minister must say, "Name", I baptize you in the name of the father, of the son, and of the Holy spirit, it affirms faith in the Holy trinity and center of faith

Why is Baptism necessary for salvation? How does this relate to one being justified by faith alone?
It is necessary as it is Christ's instituted way to share into his holy work and initiating them into his church. Baptism is the beginning of a Baptized person's journey to everlasting salvation and eternal life. Cleansing of Original sin + made children of God.
According to the Catholic Church, if someone has not been able to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, how can they be saved? Explain

Baptism of desire is applied for/ into 3 ways:
- Those who die for the faith
- Catechumens who weren't able to receive the sacrament of Baptism
- All those who, without knowing the Church but acting under the guidance of grace, seek God sincerely and strive to fulfill his will
2. Baptism of Blood:
- When anyone who isn't baptized suffers death for the sake of the faith.
- In this sense the person is baptized into Christ's death and Resurrection by the shedding of their own blood
3. Infants dead before baptism:
Must place trust in God's love & mercy
