Maryland zero-tolerance policy; any detectable alcohol ( ≥ 0.02\% ) is a violation.

It is illegal to drive with a Blood Alcohol Concentration of 0.08\% or higher.
The 3 -Second Rule
The minimum following distance recommended under ideal driving conditions.
Signaling Distance
You must signal at least 100 feet before turning or changing lanes.
Roundabout Right-of-Way
Yield to traffic already in the circle; traffic always moves counter-clockwise.
Move Over Law
Drivers must move to an available lane or slow down for emergency, service, or utility vehicles on the roadside.
Stopping for School Buses
Stop when red lights flash, unless on a divided highway with a physical median/barrier.
Headlight Usage Rule
Must be on when visibility is < 1000 feet or whenever windshield wipers are in use.
Implied Consent Law
By driving in Maryland, you agree to submit to chemical tests for alcohol or drug concentration.
