Brachialis
Originates from the anterior distal shaft of the humerus and inserts on the coronoid process and tuberosity of ulna; innervated by musculocutaneous and radial nerves.
Brachioradialis
Originates from the lateral supracondylar ridge of the humerus and inserts on the styloid process of radius; innervated by the radial nerve.
Pronator Teres
Originates from the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the coronoid process of ulna, inserts on the lateral midshaft of radius; innervated by the median nerve.
Biceps Brachii
Has a long head that originates from the supraglenoid tubercle and a short head from the coracoid process; inserts on the tuberosity of the radius and fascia of forearm; innervated by musculocutaneous nerve.
Triceps Brachii
Has a long head that originates from the infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula and lateral and medial heads; inserts at the olecranon of ulna; innervated by the radial nerve.
Extensor Digitorum
Originates from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus and inserts on the dorsal aspect of phalanges II-V; innervated by the radial nerve.
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Originates from the medial epicondyle of the humerus and inserts on the pisiform, hamate, and metacarpal V; innervated by the ulnar nerve.
Deltoid
Originates from the clavicle, scapular spine, and acromion; inserts on the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus; innervated by the axillary nerve.
Coracobrachialis
Originates from the coracoid process and inserts on the medial aspect of the shaft of the humerus; innervated by the musculocutaneous nerve.
Supraspinatus
Originates from the supraspinous fossa of the scapula and inserts on the greater tubercle of the humerus; innervated by the suprascapular nerve.
Infraspinatus
Originates from the infraspinous fossa of the scapula and inserts on the greater tubercle of the humerus; innervated by the suprascapular nerve.
Teres Minor
Originates from the lateral border of the scapula and inserts on the greater tubercle of the humerus; innervated by the axillary nerve.
Subscapularis
Originates from the subscapular fossa of the scapula and inserts on the lesser tubercle of the humerus; innervated by the subscapular nerve.
