He felt proud of himself for keeping a secret of keeping Bingley away from Jane in London. The other has to do with Wickham's entailment, (getting property and money from Mr. Darcy's father). Wickham was supposed to be a clergyman and that entailment was to support him) so he could study law. Wickham ended up only taking part of it but Darcy heard he didn't want to do either job. So Darcy thought Wickham wanted to live off of the money without any job.
